My, what a difference two years makes!

Picture #1: 15 years old and a freshman in high school - going to my first prom with my "boyfriend", Mike (using the term lightly here since he had broken up with me prior to that night). He was two years older than me and a junior. We fought most of the way there and at the dance itself as well. What a swell night that was.

Picture #2: 17 years old and a junior in high school - going to my third prom with my boyfriend, Mark (who hadn't broken up with me at that point). He, too, was two years older than me. 19-year old boys (yes, BOYS) can get away with taking a high school girl to her prom but a 19-year old girl taking a high school boy to his prom? Now, that's just plain hard up.

UPDATE: After looking at these pictures again, I realize that the sprouting of boobies apparently happened sometime between 15 and 17 as well. Funny, but there really aren't any adult flat-chested women on either side of my family. It's any wonder I went from sweet and cute at 15 to a down-right hussy look-alike (although not a practicing hussy) at 17!

Nancy, you're killing me!

Remember we bought that pink dress at a thrift shop right before the prom because that Morrison **%%! took back the dress she loaned you? That's the blue dress that got lost. I loved that dress! I also love the braces. What we do for beauty!
